Help Us Roll into Learning With Sphero Indi Robots!

Help me give my students Sphero Indi Robots to explore coding while reviewing educational skills they have learned in class.

My Project

My kindergarteners are full of energy, curiosity, and a love for learning. They thrive on hands-on activities that let them move, think, and explore. They light up when they can take control of their learning, especially when it feels like play — and that’s where this project comes in.

With the addition of Sphero Indi Robots, my students will learn the basics of coding and problem-solving in a screen-free, developmentally appropriate way.

These robots use color-coded tiles that students arrange to guide Indi through different paths. While they’re having fun planning routes and debugging errors, they’ll also be reviewing critical academic skills:

Literacy: Sight word recognition, story sequencing, and phonics

Math: Counting, number patterns, and shape recognition

Collaboration: Teamwork, communication, and perseverance

This technology will help bring our curriculum to life and allow for interactive centers, small group instruction, and STEM integration in a meaningful way.

Your support will bring the world of robotics and coding into a classroom where play and learning go hand in hand. With Sphero Indi, my students will gain skills that not only support their current academic learning but also prepare them for a future full of innovation and opportunity.
