My Project
This year, I have implemented a "soft start" for my students to begin their day. When they come in the classroom, they enjoy their breakfast while choosing a soft start activity to help begin their day with a relaxed, calm mind.
This will be even more important for students when they return to school after the traumatic experience of Hurricane Ian.
Our school community faced and continues to face many adversities due to Hurricane Ian. Some families lost everything. This project will help replenish supplies and materials such as easel pads, stools, pencils, and Play-Doh to help students return to normalcy after the storm.
