This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are very competitive. We are always playing competitive math games, and my students look forward to earning points and receiving tokens such as snacks, drinks, and free homework passes.

My students work so hard for such rewards; however, they struggle to concentrate and complain of headaches and stomachaches as a result of hunger and will ask to go to the nurse, thereby missing learning.

Having snacks in our classroom will help improve, if not eradicate, most of these problems.

These life essentials will allow my students to stay healthy, happy, and strive for their strong academic growth. I am committed to helping provide them with every advantage possible, so they can achieve all of their goals. Please help me provide my students with the snacks they need to be as successful as I know they can be.
