My students are a diverse group of middle-school learners in an inner city, Title 1 public school. My students are such a fun, lovable and engaging group. My students vary in ability levels coming to my classroom from different socioeconomic backgrounds. My students cannot afford computers at home and do not get enough time to use them at school. My students, like all children, have a thirst for learning, and are capable of doing big things. Unfortunately, they come to me ill-prepared and underexposed. My school is a high poverty school with many students living in single parent households. Ninety-nine percent of the students are economically disadvantaged.
