My Students
My students do the most amazing things with the least amazing instruments. The instruments are old, some are broken, some even barely work. Yet, my kids perform level 3-5 music and attend festivals and parades. Even beyond that, they aid the local elementary schools with private tutoring and middle school prep. This band program truly is a family and these students make it what it is. They are truly amazing and deserve the help that you would be able to provide.
My Project
The new school that I am working in is a great school. And like many other NYC public school music programs we are severely underfunded. Also, now that we are two months into the year, the instruments are getting some wear and tear because of the sheer amount of people using them.
Receiving this repair kit will greatly increase the chances that my instruments will stay in working order!
Repair tools like this help keep the instruments in working condition because of their facility and amount of goodies inside. The kits are so useful and come with so many little things that are so difficult to find separately, that this kit is the best thing money can buy!
