My Students

My students are courageous in the classroom! Despite the everyday challenges that some of these kids experience, they work hard to achieve their goals in school.

My students have grit!

They come to school ready to learn despite the challenges that they face on a daily basis. In our district, we wear school uniforms. Many of our school families face huge financial difficulties that make the purchase of school supplies and uniforms quite challenging.

As the winter months approach, I want to ensure that my students have access to the clothing that they need. One of the most challenging items for students to acquire are crew-neck sweatshirts in uniform colors. The goal of this project is to provide students with an expressed need with a uniform sweatshirt to wear over their polo shirts.

My Project

Students are most successful in the classroom when barriers to success are removed! Our school district requires students to wear uniforms.

Many families have difficulty purchasing extra items for their students.

Therefore, many students lack sweatshirts that meet the uniform requirements. 1 or 2 sweatshirts will be made available to any student with an expressed need!

Let's help these kids have a great school year by removing a barrier and helping them come to school ready to learn! Students who are comfortable, confident, and ready to learn are able to fully focus on their goals!
