This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The Lakeshore taxi-trike will offer my preschool students with a variety of disabilities a fun, inclusive way to develop motor skills, build social interaction, and encourage teamwork, while providing a safe and supportive environment for them to learn and grow together. Unfortunately, our previous taxi-trike was stolen, which is why this project is so important—it will allow us to continue providing these enriching experiences for our students.

My goals for this project are to promote social interaction, improve motor skills, and foster teamwork among my preschool students with disabilities, while creating an inclusive environment where they can build confidence and enjoy learning through play.

My students are special because they bring unique strengths, perspectives, and resilience, each overcoming their individual challenges with determination and creativity. Despite their disabilities, they demonstrate incredible potential for growth, learning, and meaningful connections with their peers.
