My classroom is filled with a diverse community of learners who love to work collaboratively and support each other daily. Many students in my classroom are bilingual English Language Learners. It is my goal to plan engaging lessons for my students in order to support their unique learning styles.
I teach at a Title I School, and most of my students face insurmountable obstacles daily!
Each one of my students continue to inspire me! They work hard every day and do not let challenges hold them back from learning!
My Project
My students are wonderful readers, writers, thinkers, and mathematicians! We are very blessed to have a classroom set of laptops for student use. We use these laptops daily to learn, communicate, and write about new topics. However, my students have no way to print out their writing. The ability to print student work would allow them to participate fully in all steps of the writing process and peer edit their work collaboratively prior to making revisions.
A Wireless HP Laser Jet Printer would allow all my students to instantly print their work and receive immediate feedback from their peers and instructor; this immediate feedback will enhance our instructional time!
The added tool of an Echo Dot in the classroom will give students the ability to print using a voice command as well as ask questions when completing different independent research projects.
Please help me give my students the freedom to print their thoughts and wonderful words with no restrictions. I know this will in turn help them grow as writers, readers, and thinkers!
