A typical day in our classroom is busy, busy, busy. We spend our day working in small groups and collaborating with each other. We are reading, researching, and learning. My goal for my students is to become life-long learners.
This year, I teach a group of wonderful 3rd grade students.
They are a great group of kids who love using technology. Many of these students don't have access to computers or tablets at home and have never gotten the opportunity to print their finished project. I am hoping to give them that opportunity.
My Project
My classroom has 4 iPads currently. Next year, every student in the class will have one! Many times students have created something on the iPad, but have no way to print out and share their work. This printer with enough ink cartridges and paper, would allow them to do that. They will be so excited to share their work with the class and with their parents.

Being able to share their work with their classmates, teachers, and parents will help build their confidence and make them better communicators. Most of my students do not get the opportunity to print their work or pictures. You can give them the joy of being able to do this!
