This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Hello! My classroom is filled with both special education students and general education students in our Title I school. My students don't necessarily have extra materials or resources at home, so they are very appreciative of the ones we have inside the classroom.

This school is in a low-income area, filled with children with many different needs, but seeing them have the opportunity to have these amazing materials from DonorsChoose.org is truly a blessing!

Some of our students have special needs, are English language learners, and have emotional disabilities; these materials will really help students explore! Thank you in advance for helping add to the success of our classroom!

My Project

My students would benefit from having a document camera in the classroom to project their work onto the board. Students will then be able to show the class their work. The class will be able to give feedback to the student presenting. This will also help show students rubrics and model assignments. Being in a classroom with students who have a variety of different needs, it helps visual learners to see what they are expected to do. A lot of my students benefit from modeling and this will help model the lesson for the students so that they are able to see it.
