Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are ages 5-6 in an Autism classroom. They are all excited to come to school and love trying new things. Each student is unique, and each student has lots of enthusiasm for learning!

My students love playing with lots of educational toys in our classroom centers.

We use lots of different toys to promote learning in our classroom. My kindergartners and first graders typically lag on fine motor skills, but we are working hard to improve them!

The students all work hard and truly enjoy playing with different types of building blocks and puzzles.

My Project

My students love playing and need assistance with creative play. They love playing dress up and would love to play with the doctor, cook, and dentist kits.

My students need dress up kits and play kits to help them in their speech and to acquire more words.

They would love to dress up and play pretend cook, doctor, or dentist.

Having these kits would be a great addition to our classroom, and my students love playing with these toys when we visit other classrooms that have them. We need a set of our own to enjoy playing with. This will also make the students more familiar with the doctor and dentist tools before they visit!
