Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
A work binder is an essential tool for first-grade students, helping them stay engaged in their learning. This tool would benefit my students who finish early. The binder can also provide a sense of responsibility and independence as they manage their own work. Additionally, students will be working on subjects like math, reading, and writing, a work binder helps students stay focused.
These work binders will help my students stay on task and cause less disruptions to other students who are still working.
My students will use Expo markers inside the binders, this can be a fun and interactive way for students to stay engaged with their learning. These dry-erase markers allow students to write, draw, and even solve problems directly on their binders, making it easy for them to review or practice concepts like math equations, spelling words, or vocabulary. The ability to quickly erase and correct mistakes encourages a growth mindset, helping students feel more confident as they learn. This hands-on approach also adds an element of creativity.
