My students need a better way to organize their classroom library. The books are in buckets that are crowded and hard to maneuver. These economy bookends and magnetic card holders will make books easy to organize!

My Students
I have a very eclectic group of kiddos with a wide variety of needs. I work at a Title One school with predominantly English Language Learners. Many of my students qualify for free or reduced-price lunches, and a lot of them have learning disabilities. In contrast, every year I have at least two or three students reading far above grade level, and who challenge me to go above and beyond the curriculum to meet their personal learning needs.
Despite all of the challenges these kids face, they come to school every day ready to learn.
They love science, social studies, and learning about how to use new technology (they LOVE creating google slides presentations!)
My Project
Currently, our library books are separated into buckets. This system takes up a lot of space, making it hard for me to add to our library. In addition, the buckets are crowded, making it hard for the kids to see titles, and books get bent and torn being pulled out of, and shoved back into the buckets.
By moving to a system of bookends and shelf labels, the kids will be able to see titles more clearly, it will be easier for them to take books off shelves and put them back, and the books will last longer because they will be treated more gently.
Additionally - I can add more books to my library with the space that will be freed up from removing the buckets, giving my kids more options for reading!
