My Project

Students are working together to plan a school wide Cultural Day showcasing their own cultures. They have been working tirelessly to choreograph dances, research the history of traditional artifacts and prepare their traditional dishes. They have even practice using traditional instruments, such as bamboo for a Filipino dance. This is a wonderful opportunity for them to feel proud of their own culture and to feel less sense of belonging. Nothing is more important than one students feel seen, heard, and valued.

This event will also help other members of our school learn about different cultures represented in our school community.

The purpose of this event is to bring everyone together to fully appreciate the beauty and wealth of multiculturalism and its impact on our students lives.
