This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Given the challenges of education during the Covid-19 pandemic, technology has become a more integral part of our education. Teaching music requires a computer that performs beyond what the school can provide us and our current computer is 11 years old and doesn't always work given modern day performance requirements. Please help!
My Project
Teaching music education was originally had technological requirements and it has become even more imperative during the times of a Covid-19 pandemic given that many of our students are going to learn offline.
Our needs extend beyond the ability of our school computers given that we need software that cannot be installed on our school computers like music notation, audio software, and video software.
These programs also have required computer performance needs. Our current computer is 11 years old and barely functions.
Please help us stay current and give our students the music education so many miss so that they can live a life with enthusiasm towards the musical cultures of our world.
