My Project

Welcome to my PreK classroom! My students are 3, 4, and 5-year-olds who attend a Title I public school in Washington, DC. My class is comprised of all special education students. As young children with disabilities, many of my students are learning self-care skills such as manipulating their clothing, toilet training, and hand washing.

Some of my students have mobility needs and are not able to stand or sit independently.

I need a changing table that will fit a pre-k-sized child so that I can change my students' diapers with care, safety, and dignity. Without a changing table, I have to change my students with mobility needs on a mat on the bathroom floor. A changing table will make a big change for my students!
