Help me give my students headphones to use during technology tasks. Some students need are still struggling to read content and need to hear the words while they read.
I teach a very diverse group of students that travel from all over Los Angeles to be a part of our school. They are the youngest at a span school that goes all the way through high school. They are energetic and motivated. They love learning and trying new things! Many of them wake up extra early to ride a bus to SOCES. It would be great to give them more ways to move around the room. I co-teach with a wonderful resource teacher to fully include our special education students in a general education classroom. I also teach a reading lab with many English language learners.
My Project
The ability to use our Chromebooks to access online educational resources is a helpful addition our curriculum. My students need to headphones so they can listen to their online lessons.
These headphones allow them to hear the stories and articles being read to them.
These headphones will allow them to work on their spelling skills as well develop language skills. Many of my students are English language learners, have disabilities, or both. My students need these headphones so that they can activate their auditory learning. We do not currently have a class set of headphones. I am asking for headphones so that my students can access all portions of their online curriculum.
