My Students

There is no typical day in our Kindergarten class. You never know if we will be dancing to learn our sight words or using our imagination to invent something with recyclable goods. Learning requires movement and thinking in my classroom.

We are in a rural school in a high poverty area.

Therefore, it is important to me as a teacher to provide my students with as many memorable and lasting experiences as possible. My students are excited to learn and thrive in my classroom when I can create hands-on learning opportunities for them. Through the funding of this project, you will help make this possible for my students.

My Project

My scholars are 21st century learners but have limited access to 21st century tools. My goal as their teacher is to provide them with the tools to be successful for life. A Chromebook would provide my scholars access to sight word apps, educational math games, and Success Maker which is an online intervention program used daily by my scholars.

The Chromebook could change the way my scholars learn and the way I teach.

It will help us integrate technology into our daily lives. Can you imagine a day without technology? Probably not. But for many scholars, like mine, this is a reality. Your support to fund my class could change that and their lives forever.
