My Project

Help me give my students stools and a whiteboard to transform our small group area into a space that supports focused, interactive learning. In my 4th grade classroom at S. Elementary in North Carolina, small group instruction plays a vital role in helping students grasp challenging concepts—especially in subjects like math. Stools will offer flexible, comfortable seating that encourages student participation and creates a structured environment for collaboration and targeted support during lessons.

The whiteboard will be a key visual tool to support instruction, particularly for breaking down multi-step math problems or modeling strategies in reading and writing.

My students learn best when they can see concepts clearly and interact with examples in real time. A whiteboard in our small group area would allow me to quickly demonstrate ideas, adjust instruction based on student needs, and keep lessons dynamic and student-centered. With your support, I can create a space that truly helps every learner grow, ask questions, and build confidence in a way that feels engaging and comfortable.
