Help Us Learn and Play Safely with Sturdy Furniture

Help me give my students an easily accessible dress-up center, a quality bookshelf, stamp pads and stamps, wobble cushions, and wooden tracing boards to begin learning letter formations.

My Project

I have had the unique opportunity of teaching a new classroom this year. Much of my furniture has been hand-me-downs from other teachers. My SPED students are full of energy and at times engage in running and climbing.

Having a durable and Pre-K designed dress up center and bookshelf would mean that my students could safely play and engage with our materials, without me having to worry about their well-being.

The majority of my students receive Occupational Therapy to help improve their fine motor deficits. The other items that I have selected for my classroom will help build these skills in a fun and engaging way. I selected wooden tracing boards, dressing dolls, and stamps to help them learn more about the world as they are developing vital skills.

Lastly, my students have shown an increasing need for activities and movements that will get rid of excess energy and help their bodies stay calm and regulated. I selected a wobble cushion and a child-size resistance band so the children can learn more about using gross motor skills and increasing body awareness.
