My Students

My classroom is filled with laughter, new experiences, exploration, and community building. My kids learn through the use of all of their senses despite the differing needs and abilities. Building lifelong learners is the number one goal!

My students come from families that want the best for their children and try their hardest despite money.

These children need a place where they can feel comfortable exploring new things and being a kid. Some of my students have had to grow up too fast; and yet, they are only four years old. The children will rise to the occasion if they need to, but it is important to let them be little and love learning through all of the different learning styles. My school is supportive of every child that enters through the doors and strives for life long learning and building the responsibility of attending school every day. This is a life skill that will follow the children for years to come.

My Project

The materials that I have selected actually touch on a couple of different areas. The different materials for the sensory table will be used with supplemental materials for the children to search for letters, rhymes, names, and much more. They will be having fun while learning. The painting easel will be able to assist the students with their creativity, problem solving skills, and fine motor development while they paint. The different clothes for the children to wear will be used in the dramatic play area. The children's creativity will blossom as well as their language through the role playing of different professions.

These donations will help me to teach the whole four year old child.

The children need to be able to get their sensory needs met while learning as well as developing their fine motor skills. In schools, we are seeing an increase of sensory processing disorders, and it is something that needs to be met in the regular and special education classroom. The children will also increase their social and emotional skills through the use of all of the materials.
