Help Us Learn and Explore With an Illuminating Light Sensory Table

Help me give my students a light sensory table, science viewers, drawing tablets, and other items for an enjoyable, inviting, and calming learning environment to invite students of all backgrounds to come together and make learning fun and colorful!

My Project

The items I chose will benefit my students with fine motor, literacy, math, science exploration, and social studies skills. A sensory light table is a great way to learn letters and numbers. The luminous glow from the sensory light table is exciting and inviting, and it makes learning fun! I have selected see-through letters, shapes, numbers, and different sensory items that students will get to explore!

This table will improve alertness, performance, and mood at school while reducing behavior and attention problems.

Light is a source of ever-changing wonder for children. Simple moments exploring light can grow into explorations in science, math, art, and language. At very young ages, children begin to realize that light can change, make shadows, and have direct sources such as the sun.

Whether the light table is used for math, literacy, or science, the purpose is to promote higher level thinking and problem-solving skills. My students will take part in academic investigations while using their senses, developing reasoning skills and building cognitive awareness.
