My Project

The butterfly/caterpillar kit, books and plant growing kit will be used for hands-on learning to help my students learn about how both plants and caterpillars grow, for two thematic units.

Student engagement skyrockets during thematic units, especially when involving hands-on learning!

Materials in this project will engulf students in a science-based, literacy-rich environment while gaining hands-on learning experiences. The students in my class do not necessarily get to experience planting a garden outside of the classroom, this project will allow them to experience what it take to grow a plant and the life cycle of a caterpillar.

Mrs. O’Hara will only receive her materials if this project is fully funded by August 13.
