My Project
Help us learn about taking care of the earth! Earth day is one day a year, however, I want to be able to expose my students to books relating to taking care of the Earth through out the year, not just in the month of April when Earth Day is.
The goal of my project is to equip myself with enough books relating to Earth Day, and taking care of the Earth so that I can read at least one book per month to my students relating to this topic.
Since the majority of my students are English language learners, my students need repetition and multiple exposures on key concepts in order to ingrain these concepts into their mind and ultimately carry-on into their life as an adult. Our children are our future, and we need to teach them how to take care of this great planet called Earth that we live on!
