Help me give my students a mini-fridge to keep snacks and treats cool! My students need to be able to keep their drinks, snacks, or lunches cold. I am concerned about spoilage and food poisoning.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Burt's classroom raised $287

My Students
I am the teacher of an Autism Support Classroom and work with fourth, fifth, and sixth graders. Students have sensory needs and rely on modified lighting, noise-canceling materials, specialized seating, break down/cool down corners, snacks as incentives, modified tasks, etc.
Work must be accommodated to their IEP goals and learning habits/frames of mind.
They also require increased support from paraprofessionals. My assistants and I often work with students in small groups so we can individualize instructions and make learning more personal. I love working with my students!
My Project
Recently our classroom fridge broke and we need a new one! We would love to have a new classroom mini-fridge to keep snacks and treats cool! My students need to be able to keep their drinks, snacks, or lunches cold. I am concerned about spoilage and food poisoning if they forget to use an ice pack. My students store their lunches in the fridge daily. They also store their water bottles in them to keep them cold, especially now that they cannot use the school water fountains. It will also keep extra snacks cold.
