Help Us Incentivize Positive Behavior and Help Students Succeed

Help me give my students sensory items to assist them in regulating at school, school counseling and speech therapy items, and positive behavior rewards and incentives!

My Project

Our students are amazing -- they are highly motivated academic achievers. They truly are our future! At our school this year we have a new school counselor, a new school social worker, and a new speech and language pathologist. We are excited to support our students in any way we can. Throughout the last few months we've noticed some gaps in the office that would really help us achieve some of our goals.

This project is supporting the work of three new professionals on campus and two student support teams!

Being able to reward students with positive behavior has been so motivating this year. Unfortunately, it gets a bit difficult to continuously fund these rewards ourselves. Having some small consumable rewards and other incentives like pencils, erasers, and small fidget toys on hand will make giving a student who has really shown exemplary behavior or improvement on a behavior plan much easier.

We would also love to have some items available to help students with sensory needs, from kick bands/fidget cushions to help students who are struggling to stay in their seats, textured stickers that can be placed on a desk, or therapy putty and stress balls for the counseling and SLP offices. Other items like art supplies and other creative projects will support the work we are doing with students in counseling or speech therapy sessions and small groups.
