This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students come from low socio-economic backgrounds and are eager to come to school to learn. They do not have access to different types of novels at home. They love to read, yet have limited access to great novels, work hard, and strive to do their personal best each and every day, despite the hardships their families face.

They live in an area where there is a lot of crime and violence, and are bused in to my school.

They have big dreams to make a difference in their lives.

My Project

These headphones will provide my students with great learning opportunities to help with their listening comprehension skills. Our old headphones are not working properly and make it difficult for us to hear stories when we are working on listening comprehension.

My students are eager to learn and build their listening comprehension skills, it is often frustrating for them when their headphones aren't working.

With new headphones, my students will have the electronics they need to further their learning and will be able to develop their listening skills. Your donation will not only help my current students, but future students as well.
