My Students
Our school is in a low income area with a transient population. For many of the students school is their only place of safety and stability. As a teacher I try hard to create a safe and inviting space for my students so that they feel comfortable and ready to learn.
My students come to school each day with a lot of baggage and they do their best to learn.
They all want to be excellent students and they want to become better everyday!
My Project
My students use technology often throughout our school day. It is integrated into our curriculum and the students love it. Currently, the headphones we have been supplied with are older with long cords that get very tangled and much learning time is lost as students struggle to untangle them. The earpieces have a cover that slides off easily and is hard for students to get it back on which means my teaching is often spent trying to fix it for them.
We would love new headphones that are convenient and higher quality than what we have now.
