This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The students in my Recording Studio Techniques class are creative, inspired, and talented--but they need a faster computer that will keep up with the speed of their quick minds! The majority of my students come from low income households, and do not have access to recording technology at home, so they rely on the technology in our classroom to record, mix, and master their music. We were lucky enough to get a grant that allowed us to buy some equipment to begin building a better recording studio in my classroom, but our old computer can't keep up. It takes a full 45 minutes just to turn this computer on. Help us to buy a mac mini to power our recording studio software, and let our students work at the speed they deserve!
