Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
All of our students would benefit from an individual space to store their materials. In our class we have 28 desks, but we have two 5th grade classes (28 students each class) sharing this space.
The chaos of having their items in stacks prevents students from finding their items in a timely manner.
The second cohort of students typically walk in and wait for someone to pass out their workbooks because all of their materials are currently in stacks on shelves. Individual cubbies will help them keep track of their materials and have accountability over their supplies.
