My Students

I believe the foundations of a good learner start early, and 1st grade is the perfect place to mix academic rigor with life long skills they will carry each year as they grow and progress.

Students from all walks of life enter my classroom looking to learn and grow.

My students come from various backgrounds but all need resources to help them succeed. Many times, they are not equipped with materials or skills to help them keep track of their belongings. I want my students to take ownership of their academic program at school and at home.

My Project

The materials I am requesting will allow my students to feel that their belongings are cared for and safe. Each night they will carry home various items to supplement their learning at school. Instead of tossing them into their bags or losing them, these sturdy clipboard storage boxes will help my students be able to gather all the materials they need to take home and bring back to school the next day. Teaching my students a sense of responsibility and organization is key in the younger years, and with the help of these storage boxes they will get to practice this skill each day.
