Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are eager to learn and excited for their first year in school! Having the classroom organized and placed in fun colors will motivate the kids to want to explore classroom material. While they cannot read, yet, they base their decisions on what they see. Imagine walking up to the library center, and seeing the selection of books visible and appealing to the eye! That is my goal!
Showing them organization while teaching, by having materials used and returned to their proper location, the colored bins and caddies will allow them to see how efficient and time-saving organization can be.
This will help model organization with their own learning materials at school. My goal is that students can learn organization by example and our lessons will have very little time lost in transition due to their skills acquired.
