My Students
Third grade is a huge year for kids to grow and explore the world. My students are extremely curious and kind humans who love to learn about others and the world. They love to use hands-on materials to understand difficult concepts and to problem solve. Within my classroom, we have over a dozen languages and cultures represented. Our classroom diversity provides an amazing environment for us all to learn from each other every day. As a community, we strive to think critically and treat one another with respect and kindness! It is essential that we have the community materials we need to learn and grow together.
My Project
"Can we have more reading time?" "Do you have the 3rd book in the series?" "Can I take this book home to finish?" My 3rd grade students LOVE to read! 3rd grade is such an essential year for reading, and we need graphic novels to keep our reading excitement going strong!

A love of reading starts now with great books! My goal is to ensure that every student feels successful and excited about reading this year. Graphic novels like Amulet, Dog Man, and Minecraft are the exact titles my students are asking for!
