My Students

My class this year has a tremendous thirst for knowledge! They love reading, writing and doing math! They are the kinds of students who love to work in groups whether it be daily work or fun work.

My students are find-a-spot, get-on-the-ground, and work students.

The floor in our classroom is tiled. I also have a big rug and six bean bags.

Partner or group work challenges each of my students. I enjoy seeing the products of their work.

My Project

The students in my class this year love to read and write in their journals. They love to get on the ground, get comfortable and read or create! We have a carpet area and bean bags which help our floor time become more comfortable. We have six bean bags at the present time; however, only 2 are fully fluffed!

The Bean Bag Foam Filler will help our "flat-as-a-pancake" bean bags become "super-comfy-reading-spots." I feel like the filler I chose will hold its fluff for a long time.

Student reading and writing are two of the most important skills that can be learned and repeated at such an early age. I try to allow ample time daily for these two activities.
