My Project
My students have been identifed as students with disabilities and have delays with fine motor skills as well as learning disabilities, cognitive delays and social emotional delays. These students require multiple opportunities to practice skills in order to understand the concepts and master them.
The items in this purchase will allow us to present various learning activities where we can practice handwriting and fine motor activities in various ways to assist our students in learning to write their letters and numbers.
We will practice these skills daily with the items purchased and will utilize them in multiple ways both individually with students as well as in small groups and whole group lessons and activities.
Fine motor skills, along with mastering the skills of learning to write letters and numbers are life long skills that our students need to be successful students. Building this foundation for learning is so pivotal to their success.
