This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have a wonderful group of students who also happen to be learning English. While they are growing in both size and knowledge I would love to be able to have a brand new rug in our classroom.

I am requesting a brand new rug for the best rug spot.

The rug we have now is more than a few years old and rarely gets professionally cleaned.

I have done my best over the years to take care of it but it's time for a new one. Our old rug just does not cut it. I would like to have a new rug that my students can explore the alphabet from beginning to end, practice letter recognition and letter-sound association. Our rug is the center piece of our classroom. I use it daily and it's one of the best ways we all get to learn together!
