I am the librarian at a Title I school. Many of our students do not have books at home, and over 70% of families live in poverty. Since I have taken on this new role, it has been my passion to update and fill our library shelves with the BEST books that kids are excited to read.
The books in this project are newly released books that the students are sure to LOVE!
I have been busy creating dream lists of books to update our library to make it better each year. My annual budget does not buy us many books, and it is because of donors like you that I can offer our students new books and opportunities that I feel they deserve. My job is to get students excited about reading and to read books they might never try. I honestly can only do this work with your support.
