Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My pre-k students learn through play. The materials in this project will help enhance our Dramatic Play, Science, and Writing centers. In April, we talk about spring and planting. My students LOVE this theme. The materials included in this project will enable my students to use developmentally appropriate materials to enhance their learning. My students are also writing. Some students still struggle with writing their letters and the sand writing boxes and sandpaper letters will help these students to practice and develop this skill. Our science center could also benefit from materials related to our spring/planting theme.
