Help me give my students quality paper and colored markers to create art for our Social-Emotional Learning lessons. My students need a creative way to understand, express, and share their feelings as they go through the school year.

My Project
My students work hard all year. As 3rd graders, this is their first year with more serious academic responsibilities and expectations. It's also the year where they go from early childhood to middle childhood. And It is also the first year they will take standardized tests. This is a LOT of change for them and it causes a lot of stress and worry for them. Providing a balanced curriculum that includes the arts as well as social-emotional earning is imperative for them to thrive. Providing regular opportunities for them to express themselves in as many creative is what I strive for. I have done a lot of reading on how Art is an important part of dealing with the variety of internal changes children go through. It's important that they have an avenue for introspection and expression of their thoughts and feelings.
Art supplies are not provided in my school past the occasional bottle of tempera, so we are left with basic drawing and coloring activities with crayons and colored pencils that the students themselves provide.
I want them to experience a variety of media, such as paint pens, to be able to produce quality art that they will be proud of. and that will last. These pens will be used in a variety of different projects I have planned including creating a "Joy Catcher" that guides them to identify the things that bring them joy and then using colors and words and shapes and textures to depict them. Please help my students' creative juices flow!
