Help Us “Easel” Our Way Into The New Year!

Help me give my students a new easel to easily access lesson materials and allow them to take control of their learning in the classroom! My goal with a new easel is to increase student engagement.

My Students

I have a kindergarten classroom full of diverse learners! My students show a great amount of enthusiasm for learning. My class is filled with very active learners who absolutely love learning! Their excitement for learning is exhibited daily. We are a small, mostly low-income charter school with many of my students facing several challenges both in and out of the classroom. We strive to make school an enjoyable experience where all students feel safe and engaged.

As their teacher, I aim to foster their curiosity and love of learning.

My Project

As we “easel” our way into a new year, I would love to add an easel to our classroom! Having an easel in our classroom will allow easier access for students to use curriculum materials for lessons. Our classroom white board is a little high for some of my kindergartners. The easel will allow them to participate in lesson activities (and much more) at a developmentally appropriate level in which they can reach. The class will use the easel for morning meeting, calendar, foundations, reading stories, writing, drawing, and math!
