This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I have the privilege of spending each day with 25 amazing and bright children. They are excited to learn, kind, and make me want to be a better teacher. Their smiles light up my world and their love for learning is what drives me to be the best that I can be. Many of my students come from a low, socioeconomic home and a large percentage speak Spanish as their primary language.

My goal is for every student in my class to have the tools to become successful.

With your help, you will fulfill this goal for not only the 25 fantastic students I currently have, but for the many kids who will continue to walk through my classroom door each year.

My Project

Having a pair of earbuds for each student in my class will allow students to listen to their online lesson and ebooks without disturbing classmates sitting near them. We have been very fortunate to get Chromebooks and iPads donated and now we just need the earbuds! If each student had their own set of earbuds it would allow him/her to have an undisturbed time for learning and using technology. It will also teach students responsibility and how to care for tools in the classroom. My students work very hard each day and deserve this! Thank you in advance for supporting us.
