I teach in a small, rural community where over half of our students receive free or reduced lunch. I am moving to a second grade classroom next year to teach gifted and accelerated learners! My students are creative, outgoing, adventurous, and full of questions!
I want to give these children multiple opportunities to find answers, express themselves creatively, and explore the world around them!
I want to help spark their interests, expand their curiosities, and open their eyes to possibilities they thought were only dreams!
My Project
The Botley Coding Robot and accessories kits will allow my students to explore the world of coding in a meaningful way! We can use Botley to encourage critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and communication!
Students will be able to use Botley in small group to become engineers and designers!
We will also be able to use the Learning Resources lessons and activities to reinforce addition, subtraction, and spelling with the Botley robots!
I am so excited to get these robots into my students' hands! I can't wait to see all their new, inventive ideas and creations! Thank you for putting Botley in my classroom!
