Help me give my students device charging stations to help them be prepared for classes with charged Chromebooks and remove cell phone distractions while they are learning.
Cell phones continue to be one of the biggest distractions students and teachers face while in the classroom setting. By committing to this project you will help me provide a space in my classroom where students are able to charge their devices, a benefit to the students, and a place where devices are no longer in their hands distracting them from the lessons in my classroom, a benefit to me. This resource will also be available for students during their homeroom advisory period to charge Chromebooks in preparation for their daily classes, providing them access to a needed school resource even in the event that they should forget to charge it at home.
