Congratulations to the Class of 2016! We have come a long way, and graduation is just around the corner. My students convene daily in my classroom, after completing their sometimes arduous, morning journeys from all over NYC.
Soon, we will begin the preparations for the Class of 2016 graduation ceremony.
This performance is is the event that culminates a lifetime of hard work, thus far, for our graduates. My students close the chapter on their childhood, and begin their journey into adulthood. Our goal is to capture and preserve the rehearsals and performance, as a reminder of their high school experience.
My Project
Graduation performance rehearsals are so much fun! We spend the first couple of sessions stumbling through the routine, as we make adjustments, before finalizing the program. However, soon enough, our persistence pays off, as we glide through the routine like a group of professionals. We wish to capture all of this on our new camera and printer.
I would like to use the equipment from this proposal to document our journey to the podium.
Each of the students who cross the stage will have done so with hard work and dedication to their craft. The graduates of the Class of 2016 deserve the tools necessary to preserve their memories.
