Help me give my students the ability to build their own sets for school plays. A functional miter saw and work bench will give students access to a fantastic working experience in stage crafting.

My Project
As part of the theatre tech CTE course, students are required to learn how to operate a variety of saws. One of the most widely used saws recently broke in our shop and the theatre department desperately needs a new one. Without the Chop saw students will be unable to learn skills on one of the most widely used tools in wood working. Without this tool, we will be unable to create sets for the upcoming spring play. This hampers not only my students in class but the students who stay after school to participate in the plays as well.
This is a dire situation because stage crafting jobs would be open to students with proper knowledge right out of high school.
These are high paying jobs with hourly rates from 25-35 dollars an hour. With Las Vegas being the entertainment capital of the world the only thing stopping these students from easily acquiring one of these jobs is inadequate access to common shop tools.
Please help the students get the proper access they need to these tools, and give the talented students who stay after school the opportunity to present their work in a proper setting.
