Help me give my students a classroom library that consists of books that spark their interest and imagination.

My Students

Many of my students come from low-income families and under developed neighborhoods. They rarely have opportunity or wish to leave their neighborhood to fully experience the rest of the city. Many lack access to technology such as computers and internet access.

The majority of my students are juniors and seniors in high school who show enthusiasm for academic and personal growth.

The school has housed many different generation within the community and is a representation of its beauty and excellence.

My Project

A classroom library will help encourage my students to become life-long readers. This donation will provide students with the access to books that reflect their interests and various skill levels. Our classroom library will show my students the importance of reading across all subject areas.

We do not have a librarian on staff at our school and this classroom library will provide students with access to a diverse set of books.

These books will allow student who have a love for reading to discover new books. In addition, your donation will also encourage reluctant readers to find a novel that matches their interests.
