Help Us Build a Science Lab—One Flask at a Time!

Help me give my students basic laboratory supplies to explore chemistry and biology through hands-on experiments. We’re asking for essential items like flasks, safety goggles, Petri dishes, thermometers, scales and stopwatches to bring our lessons to life.

My Project

Our 6th grade scientists are full of curiosity, but our classroom lacks the basic lab supplies needed to truly explore the world through hands-on learning. At our Title 1 school, many students haven’t had the chance to do real science experiments—yet.

With your support, students will be able to:

• Investigate chemical reactions and changes in matter

• Grow bacteria to explore cells and microorganisms

• Track temperature changes to model energy transfer

• Measure time and variables in controlled experiments

These materials will help us meet Arizona 6th grade science standards, including:

• Physical Science: Understanding properties and changes of matter

• Life Science: Exploring cells, ecosystems, and microorganisms

• Scientific Practices: Planning and carrying out investigations
