This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In our class, we have 24 amazing students. Our students are 4th graders eager to learn everyday. They are all so kind; from day, they showed dedication and want to expand their experiences as readers. In our class, we have students of different ethnicities and cultures, as well as students with disabilities. Each of these students add so much shine in their own unique ways and together, we are a family.
In our classroom, we received 5 new bookshelves, and now we are hoping to create a reading nook that is inviting and full of the most colorful books of all genres for our students to explore!
These materials will help us build our classroom library into a place that our students feel welcomed and comfortable to explore the stories within it. One place our students gravitate towards is the library. So my goal is to create a library that is a safe and inviting place for students to read and grow.
