My students' last day of in-person class was on March 13th. Teachers didn't even get a chance to say, "Good-bye" because we were notified of the school closures at the end of the school day. I am very proud of how they have handled distance learning and staying positive at home. They are doing the best they can in a situation they didn't ask to be in.
They miss going to school to learn and seeing their friends.
I'm staying positive for them because they are being so brave during this school closure.
My amazing students have been working incredibly hard using the assignments that I have given them with Google Classroom, YouTube, and learning websites. However, my learners without the internet or a computer at home would benefit greatly from me having a laser printer with multi-function capabilities so that I could print some lessons out.
This project will provide an opportunity for me to print out lessons and letters to students so that I can assist my students with their remote learning experiences.
I don't have a working printer at home which has made distance learning really difficult for me.
