Help Us Breathe CO2 for You And For Me

My Project

Our students love our 55 gallon fish tank. They learn about ecosystems, habitats, behavioral and physical adaptations all with one tank. But our tank struggles to keep plants alive and keep algae down.

Plants are a natural deterrent to algae in a fish tank and our students love to see a well planted tank.

We are learning about what plants need to survive in both water and on land. Plants take in CO2 and give off oxygen but many times in a tank there isn't enough CO2 for the plants to survive. This is an CO2 injection system that will help keep the right amount in the tank for a well planted tank.
